Inspirations and thoughts to think upon:

some of the following is stolen from different sources...some may be yours....oh well...hehe....
some is from the book the Light For My Path

"We ought to repose on Divine Providence, not only for what concerns temporal things, but much more for what relates to our spiritual life and perfection." -- Francis De Sales

"I take my heart in my hand, O my God , O my God, my broken heart in my hand: thou hast seen, judge thou." --Christina Rossetti

"A jealous person is doubly unhappy-over what he has, which is judged inferior, and over what he has not, which is judged superior. Such a person is doubly removed from knowing the true blessings of creation."--Desmond Tutu

"The soul hardly ever realizes it, but whether he is a believer or not, his loneliness is really a homesickness for God."
--Hubert Van Zeller

"Experiences of shame appear to embody the root meaning of the word-to uncover, to expose, to wound. They are experiences of exposure.....The exposure may be to others, but whether others are or are not involved, it is always....exposure to one's own eyes."
--Helen Merrel Lynd

"You're not finished when your defeated... you're finished when you quit."--William Van Crouch

"We need to aspire to inspire."-- Kris Jackson

"God is always with us; why should we not always be with God?" --W.B. Ullathorne

"Where our work is, there let our joy be."--Tertullian

"All men desire peace, but few desire the things that make for peace."--Thomas A Kempis

When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder!

When the roll is called up yonder, how silent and still it will be,
as the Father sits upon His throne, selecting those for eternity.

The names will crack out like thunder, bringing the universe to its knees,
the multitudes waiting and watching, Lord when are You calling me?

And then the book is closed, a great silence falls upon the crowd,
there are no words to change, what the Lord has now spelled out.

We thought the Lord would see, only the goodness in our hearts,
but He said I don't know you, from Me now you must depart.

The silence is now gone forever, loud cries fill the air,
the Father's light is disappearing, there is no one left who even cares.

But this day is in the future, the Father's light is still here to guide,
won't you take His hand forever, so on that day there will be no reason
to cry?

When the roll is called up yonder, how silent and still it will be,
as the Father sits upon His throne, selecting from sinners like you and me.

"What is it like to be a Christian?"

"It is like being a pumpkin. God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. Then he cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc., and then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see."
